Brewers Blitz in the First Inning
What an exhilarating game for us Brewers fans!
The boys in blue got off to a spectacular start in the bottom of the 1st inning, setting the tone with an early lead. Brice Turang's double paved the way, and after William Contreras drew a walk, Rhys Hoskins came through with a clutch double, bringing in both Turang and Contreras. But the highlight was undoubtedly Jake Bauers' mammoth homer to center field, a 416-foot stunner that added another two runs to the board. By the end of the inning, we were up 4-0! 
Pitching Dominance Keeps Astros in Check
The Brewers' pitchers delivered a masterclass performance, with crisp and precise execution across innings. The Astros were unable to score and struggled to find rhythm against our pitchers for the majority of the game. A special shoutout to the relief pitchers who stepped up in tough situations to make sure the Astros didn't make any significant headway, especially during the 8th inning. Uribe, Mears, and Megill held their ground, showing nerves of steel.
Keeping the Lead to the End
Despite a nerve-wracking 7th inning where the Astros clawed back three runs, our Brewers maintained their composure. Brendan Rodgers' homer gave the Astros some life, cutting our lead to just one run. But our Brewers remained resilient! Kudos to Jackson Chourio and Brice Turang for their efforts on the field. In the end, Megill shut down any hopes the Astros had in the 9th inning with a dominating performance, recording three quick outs and sealing a fantastic 4-3 victory for us over the Houston Astros. A fantastic day for Brewers nation!
