A Great Start
Hey Astros fam, what a game it was tonight! It started so positively in the top of the 1st inning when Isaac Paredes got on base with a single to left, followed by Christian Walker who knocked a double to center, bringing Paredes home.
The Astros started strong, ending the inning 1-0. We were feeling optimistic! 
Defense Holding Strong
For the first few innings, our defense was holding it down. Yainer Diaz and Jake Meyers were out there managing to make some solid plays in the field, while Brendan Rodgers tried to keep the momentum going. Despite some close calls, we held the Rangers to one run, thanks in part to Jose Altuve's consistent performance when he got on base in the 3rd inning, though we couldn't quite capitalize on that chance.
Challenging Later Innings
The game took a turn in the 6th inning when Joc Pederson from the Rangers hit a two-run homer, which unfortunately shifted the momentum in their favor. Despite our hopes to rally, we couldn’t quite get anything going in the later innings. The top of the 9th was our last chance, but the Rangers' relievers kept us on lockdown, leading to a final score of 5-1.Even though it wasn’t our night, let's keep our chins up and play our hearts out in the next game.
