Tough Loss in Extra Innings

Fellow Astros fans, it was a nail-biter! Playing against the Texas Rangers is always a challenge, and unfortunately, this game ended in a heartbreaking 4-3 loss for our Houston Astros in 12 innings. 😞

Early Lead and Redemption

Our boys got on the board first with Jesus Sánchez taking advantage of a Rangers' error and Victor Caratini driving him home with a single in the 2nd inning. It was great to see Caratini's bat coming to life early. However, the Rangers responded quickly, evening the score in their half of the inning. In the 3rd inning, Jake Burger showed off his power by delivering a two-run shot against us, putting the Rangers in front. Despite the setback, our own Carlos Correa delivered a clutch two-run homer in the 8th inning to tie the game, bringing Jose Altuve home and reigniting our hopes. 😍💪

Late Game Drama

The tension was palpable as both teams held strong until the bottom of the 12th inning. With Langford walking and Dustin Harris stepping up with a decisive double, the Rangers managed to score the winning run. It was a tough pill to swallow after our tremendous efforts. A special shoutout to our pitchers who put up a fight throughout, especially Lance McCullers Jr. despite the result. Our batting lineup gave it their all, and Carlos Correa proved why he’s a catalyst in our lineup.

Stay strong, Astros fans! We've got plenty of baseball left and we'll rally back with more heart than ever. Let's keep cheering and supporting our team through thick and thin! 💙⚾
