A Pitcher's Duel
We Baltimore fans got a real treat today with an impressive display on the mound! The game began with both teams serving up some shutdown pitching. The first six innings were a no-score affair, with our standout pitcher dealing strike after strike to the Royals' batters. Dean Kremer was on fire, keeping the Royals at bay while our defense backed him up beautifully. The game was a tug-of-war until the 7th inning came around.
Seventh Inning Delight
The Orioles' offense woke up in the bottom of the 7th thanks to Adley Rutschman starting with a crucial double. What followed was a homerun you just had to see from Ryan O'Hearn, blasting it 391 feet to bring in the first two runs of the game. Not to mention his great work all game, this homer set Camden Yards alight! Our cheers must have echoed across Baltimore! Ryan Mountcastle joined the party with a double, and then it was Emmanuel Rivera who stepped up with a clutch single to bring Mountcastle home, making it 3-0.

Closing It Out Strong
With the lead firmly secured, Yennier Cano and Felix Bautista stepped up to polish off the Royals in the final innings. Their sharp pitching put the Royals down in the 8th and 9th innings with no addition to the scoreboard from KC. Bautista struck out Bobby Witt Jr., and then kept his calm to seal the win without allowing any hits in the 9th. What a performance, and a massive shoutout to our team today. A clean 3-0 victory!
