What a thrilling game, Royals fans!
Our boys came out strong on the road against the Baltimore Orioles, showing resilience and determination. The game started off with some early excitement as Maikel Garcia smashed a homer to left center, setting an early tone for what would become an explosive evening! It was in the later innings that our Royals truly began to shine. Hats off to Drew Waters for his remarkable two-run single in the 4th inning that gave us a lead. Then, another homer by Garcia in the 6th set us back on track. The 7th inning was downright electric with back-to-back homers by Bobby Witt Jr. and Vinnie Pasquantino, which gave us a boost and stretched our lead. Our bats were on fire!
The Final Push
The real highlight came in the 9th inning when Michael Massey knocked a two-run homer, solidifying our lead and ensuring a comfortable position heading into the bottom half. Tyler Clarke closed it out for us, managing the pressure like a seasoned pro. This 11-6 victory is a testament to our offense firing on all cylinders and a bullpen that stood strong when it mattered the most. What a game, Kansas City! Royals fans, let's savor this one!
