Rockies Get the Win! 🎉

It was a great day at Coors Field as our Colorado Rockies took home a well-deserved victory against the Kansas City Royals with a final score of 3-1. 🌟

Pitching Duel Early On

Both teams kept it tight in the first inning with no runs scored. The Rockies were patient at the plate, but Ryan McMahon managed to get on base with a walk before Elias Díaz was struck out swinging.

Doyle's Dinger Makes the Difference 🚀

The scoreboard lit up in the bottom of the 2nd inning thanks to a two-run homer by Brenton Doyle, scoring Brendan Rodgers who had reached on an error. It was a beautiful shot to right-center, traveling 408 feet! 💥

McMahon Adds Another Run

In the 5th inning, Sam Hilliard pulled off a bunt single and stole second base. Ryan McMahon took advantage, driving Hilliard home with a single to center, pushing the score to 3-0. This would prove to be the winning run! 🏃‍♂️💨

Royals Try to Rally

The Royals managed to snag a run in the top of the 6th inning with a solo homer from Vinnie Pasquantino, but that was all they would get as our pitching staff held strong.

Strong Finish by the Rockies' Bullpen

Kudos to the Rockies' bullpen for sealing the deal. Lucas Gilbreath came in clutch, and Jaylin Kinley handled the 8th inning with skill. It was William Vodnik who shut the door in the 9th, securing the win after a little bit of drama with base runners on. Renfroe's single and Fermin's walk made it interesting, but Micheal Massey grounded out to end the game. 👏

Looking Ahead 🚀

With this win, the Rockies have shown resilience and skill. Let’s keep the momentum going into the next game! Go Rockies! 🏔️⚾
