A Tough Day at Comerica Park 
Well, fellow Tigers fans, this one hurt a bit. The Royals came into our home and handed us a 7-1 loss. While we had some promising moments, it just wasn't enough to overcome Kansas City's firepower today.First Inning Woes 
We didn't get off to the best start. Maikel Garcia led off with a single for the Royals and stole second. Bobby Witt Jr. walked, and both advanced a base due to some aggressive baserunning. then Vinnie Pasquantino hammered a 367-foot homer to right, bringing Garcia and Witt Jr. home. That set the tone early, and we were down 3-0 right away. Our top of the first was uneventful with just Colt Keith managing a walk.Signs of Life in the Fourth 
The fourth inning gave us a glimmer of hope. Colt Keith sparked things with a single to left, followed by Wenceel Perez hitting another single. Bligh Madris then got Keith home with a sacrifice fly to left, putting us on the board. We closed out the inning 3-1, but that was as close as we got.Tough Seventh and Eighth Innings 
The Royals extended their lead in the seventh inning with Freddy Fermin bringing Michael Massey home. Then, back-to-back solo homers by Bobby Witt Jr. and Vinnie Pasquantino in the eighth inning pushed their lead to 6-1. Another run in the ninth sealed our fate, putting us further behind at 7-1.Missed Opportunities 
We did have our chances. Vierling and Pérez had a couple of hits, and Malloy had runners in scoring position but just couldn't capitalize. The Royals' pitching and defense were just too strong today. Our final effort in the ninth with Andy Ibanez pinch-hitting ended without any fireworks.Conclusion 
A tough game but let's keep our heads up, Tigers fans. There's always the next one, and this season is far from over. Let's take the positives where we can and come back stronger! Roar on!
