Royals Can't Hold On Against Astros
Hey Royals fans
, tonight was a tough game for us in Houston. Our boys put up a good fight but ultimately fell short against the Astros, losing 6-3. Early Tight Contest
The first few innings were a classic pitching duel. Michael Massey gave us some hope with a single in the top of the 1st, but we couldn't capitalize. The next few innings mirrored the first, with both teams unable to push across a run.Astros Score First 
In the bottom of the 5th, the Astros broke the scoreless tie. Jeremy Pena and Jon Singleton set it up, and Jason Heyward brought them home with a double, putting Houston ahead 2-0. Ouch.Royals Rally in the 7th!

But our Royals didn't back down! In the top of the 7th, Salvador Perez reached on an error, and Paul DeJong and MJ Melendez both got on base. Maikel Garcia kept the momentum going with an infield single, loading the bases. Then came the heart-stopping moment: Kyle Isbel doubles to left, clearing the bases and giving us a 3-2 lead! 
A Tough 8th Inning 
However, the bottom of the 8th proved disastrous. The Astros capitalized on a throwing error, a bases-loaded walk, and a couple of singles to take a commanding 6-3 lead. A crucial fielding error by MJ Melendez didn't help either.Final Efforts and Loss
The Royals tried to mount a comeback in the 9th, but Salvador Perez, Paul DeJong, and MJ Melendez all went down in order. The game ended with the Astros triumphing, 6-3.Final Thoughts
It's a tough loss, Royals fans, but let's keep our heads high and continue to support our team. We'll get them next time!
