Tough Night at the Big A
Hey fellow Angels fans
Pitcher's Duel Turns Sour
The game started off as a classic pitcher's duel with both sides putting up zeros through the first three innings. Our Angels showed some promise early on with Luis Guillorme smacking a double in the first, but we couldn't quite bring him home. The Royals, though, they found their moment in the fourth inning, breaking through with a four-run onslaught that included hits from Salvador Perez, Freddy Fermin, and Hunter Renfroe. That inning alone proved to be the difference in the game.Angels' Response Too Little, Too Late
We did manage to light up the scoreboard in the sixth, thanks to a double from Willie Calhoun that brought Mickey Moniak around to score.
It was a frustrating night at the plate, with our Angels struggling to find any rhythm against the Royals pitching staff. Calhoun's efforts aside, the strikeout bug bit us hard, with too many opportunities slipping through our fingers.

Looking Ahead
While tonight didn't go our way, there were still a few bright spots. Calhoun's bat showed signs of life, and our defense held the line after the fourth inning, not allowing any more runs. As always, we stand behind our team and look forward to the next game, ready to cheer them on as they get back to their winning ways. Remember, it's a long season, and every game is a new opportunity.
Until next time, keep those rally caps ready and let's bring some of that Angel magic back to the Big A!
