A Tough Night at Target Field
Fellow Twins fans, it's been a challenging evening at Target Field as we faced off against the Kansas City Royals. Despite a valiant effort from our boys, we were unable to put any runs on the board and ended up falling short with a final score of 2-0 in favor of the Royals.

Pitching Duel or Hitters' Struggle?
This game was all about the pitching, as both teams kept runs at a minimum. Our guys, starting with Bailey Ober, were locked in on the mound early, getting three quick outs in the first inning. The highlight of the night was definitely Austin Martin with his two singles, providing a spark at the top of our lineup. But unfortunately, we couldn't convert those hits into runs.
Opportunities Missed
We had our share of opportunities but just couldn't capitalize. In the 3rd inning, after a single from Austin Martin and a follow-up by Ryan Jeffers, we had runners on the corners but failed to bring them home. Plus, Kody Clemens walked twice, showing his discipline at the plate but again, the chance slipped away.Defensive Highlights and Tough 9th
Our defense put up a noble fight. Royce Lewis proved reliable at third, and Brooks Lee showed quick reflexes at shortstop. But a tough 9th inning had the Royals add to their tally with a clutch hit by Jonathan India, extending their lead to 2-0.
Closing Thoughts
While the outcome wasn't what we had hoped for, let's keep our heads up and support our Twins as they bounce back in the next outing. Baseball is a marathon, not a sprint, and we know our guys have what it takes to turn this around! We are, after all, Twins territory!
