Disappointing Game for the Twins Fans

Hey, Twins fans! 😔 It was a rollercoaster game at Target Field today with a hard-fought battle against the Kansas City Royals. The game started with our boys showing promise and getting an early lead, but ultimately, we couldn't hold on for the win. Let's dive into what happened on the field.

Bright Start for the Twins

The Twins started strong with Ryan Jeffers putting us on the board, thanks to his double followed by a solid single by Ty France during the first inning. 🎉 A perfect start! But from there, it seemed the Royals' defense stiffened up, and despite solid efforts from our hitters, we struggled to add more runs.

Tough Battle to Finish

Despite a resilient defense and Willians Astudillo stopping the Royals from scoring for the most part, an unexpected throwing error in the 10th inning allowed the Royals to take the lead. We had a chance to come back in the bottom of the 10th when Kody Clemens got on base with a walk, and there was hope with Harrison Bader's hustle to second. But alas, the game ended with a groundout from Brooks Lee.

Looking Forward

While this one didn’t go our way today, let's keep our spirits high, Twins Territory. Our boys will bounce back soon enough. Excited to see them again! ⚾️ Let's go, Twins! 💪
