What a thrilling night for our beloved Kansas City Royals!
We came out on top against the Minnesota Twins with a nail-biting 2-1 win in the 10th inning. The game started off slow for us, as the Twins took an early lead in the first inning. After giving up a run early, our pitching and defense stood strong, keeping the Twins scoreless through the rest of the game. We saw key moments from players like Maikel Garcia, whose walk in the third could have been the start of something big. Yet, it was our stellar pitching that consistently shut down any hopes the Twins had for extending their lead. Twins' batters struggled, with strikeout after strikeout, courtesy of our bullpen.

Our patience paid off in the 10th inning. With Nick Loftin scoring due to a throwing error by Twins' left fielder Willi Castro, the Royals edged ahead 2-1. Maikel Garcia delivered when needed, and the team held firm with Clarke securing the last out to wrap up the game.
