Tough Night in Seattle
Hey Royals fans, while today's game didn't go our way, there were a few bright spots to take note of. We started off with Kyle Isbel igniting some hope by singling to left in the 3rd inning. Jonathan India did his part too, following Isbel with a solid single. Then came Bobby Witt Jr. to bring Isbel home with another single, putting us on the scoreboard first!

Pitchers and Challenges
The Mariners fought back, as Randy Arozarena hit a solo homer in the 4th and followed it up with a big 3-run homer in the 5th. By the end of the 5th, they were leading 5-1. Our bullpen, including Lynch IV and Erceg, took over from Wacha and worked to keep the Mariners from running away with the game. However, Cal Raleigh extended their lead with a homer in the 7th. Despite the hard work from our pitchers, the Mariners kept the pressure on.
Never Give Up, Royals!
In the 8th, we saw a spark when John Rave reached base, followed by Isbel drawing a walk, and India getting hit by a pitch to load the bases. Witt Jr. hustled to bring Rave home, chipping away at their lead. But ultimately, the Mariners' relief pitching closed the door on us.
It was a tough 2-6 loss, but there's always something to learn from every game. Keep your heads up, Royals fans!
