Royals Start Strong Out of the Gate
What an exciting game it was for us, Royals fans!

Holding Strong Against the Cardinals' Response
The Cardinals fought back in the 3rd inning, tying the game at 5-5 with a powerful home run by Arenado. But our guys showed that they weren't backing down. In the top of the 4th, Mark Canha and Nick Loftin kept the momentum going. Canha doubled and Loftin drove him home with a timely double of his own, putting us in the lead once again at 6-5. The resilience of the team was truly impressive!
Pitching Shuts The Door
Our bullpen really stepped up to the plate and sealed the deal! After taking the lead in the 5th inning with Salvador Perez driving Maikel Garcia home, our pitching staff held the Cardinals scoreless for the rest of the game. Special shoutout to Carlos Hernández, Zerpa, and Estévez for silencing the Cardinals' bats and securing the win for us. A 7-5 victory on enemy turf? Now that’s what I'm talkin' about!
Overall, the game was a combination of smart strategies, good hitting, and excellent bullpen performance. It feels great to see our Royals fight back and hold firm through the pressure. Onto the next one, Royals fans!
