A Hot Start by the Rangers! ​

What a way to get the game rolling, Rangers! Our very own Wyatt Langford hit an electrifying home run to left center in the bottom of the 1st inning, putting Texas on the board right away. That blast traveled a jaw-dropping 412 feet. A perfect start for us, with the Rangers leading 1-0.

Building on the Lead ​

In the bottom of the 3rd inning, Jake Burger came through with a clutch double, bringing home Ahmed and Langford, boosting our lead to 3-1. It looked like we were taking control of the game.

Mid-Game Tension ​

The Royals began creeping back into the game in the top of the 6th, tying it 3-3. But our boys were quick to respond when Adolis García launched a massive home run in the bottom of the inning, sending Josh Smith home and repositioning our lead at 5-3. Doing what we do best: staying resilient!

A Rocky Turn of Events ​

Unfortunately, the game took a disappointing turn in the 8th inning. Freddy Fermin crushed our hopes with a 3-run homer, granting the Royals a 6-5 lead. And the top of the 9th wasn’t kind either, as they extended their lead to 9-5. No one said baseball was easy!

Final Showdown and Takeaways ​

In the end, it was up to us to rally from behind, but the Royals successfully shut the door in the 9th inning. We put up a good fight, but just couldn’t pull it back. Still, hats off to Langford and García for making those fantastic home run memories. We’ll regroup and come back stronger, just like we always do, Rangers fans. Let's keep supporting our team through thick and thin! Let's go, Rangers!
