We started off the 1st inning with some promise. Nolan Schanuel walked and Luis Rengifo singled, putting runners on base early. Unfortunately, back-to-back outs by Taylor Ward, Kevin Pillar, and Logan O'Hoppe left us scoreless. The Diamondbacks capitalized on their first turn. Trying to Get Back In It
In the top of the 3rd, Michael Stefanic walked to give us some hope, but a double play quickly silenced us. The Diamondbacks added to their lead with another solo homer by Walker. By the end of the 3rd inning, it was already 4-0.We finally got on the board in the 4th inning. O'Hoppe doubled, and Mickey Moniak drove him in with a single.
