Tough Start for the Astros
Our beloved Houston Astros faced off against the Los Angeles Angels tonight, and it was a challenging game from the very beginning. In the top of the 1st inning, Mike Trout reminded us why he's one of the best in the league by singling to center and bringing in two runs.
Battling to Stay in the Game
The Angels continued to apply pressure, with Nolan Schanuel hitting a home run in the 4th inning. Our team had a chance with bases loaded in the bottom of the 4th, but Jeremy Peña could not capitalize, and the inning ended with the score still at 0-3. Pitching changes happened on both sides, yet the Angels managed to get one more run in the top of the 5th thanks to a homer from Taylor Ward.
Late Game Surge and a Glimmer of Hope
Finally, in the bottom of the 8th, Isaac Paredes hit a much-needed home run to left center, breaking the goose egg on our scoreboard!
