Angels Dominate from the Start
What a game, Angels fans!
Our boys secured a convincing 4-1 victory over the Astros, and it all started with a bang right in the top of the 1st inning. After a single by Taylor Ward, Luis Rengifo doubled, setting the stage for Mike Trout, who delivered a clutch single to drive both Ward and Rengifo home. Thatās how you make an entrance! 
Monster Homers Fuel the Lead
The Angels continued to shine by capitalizing on opportunities. Nolan Schanuel smacked a powerful 383-foot homer in the 4th inning to extend our lead. But the excitement didnāt stop there! In the 5th inning, Taylor Ward added to his solid performance with his own homer, putting us up 4-0. The sense of confidence was undeniable, and it felt like there was nothing Houston could do to catch up.
Strong Pitching Holds the Astros at Bay
Letās not forget our pitching squad who kept the Astrosā bats mostly silent throughout the game. Despite a solo home run by Paredes in the 8th inning, which made it 4-1, our bullpen, with stellar performances from Jansen and company, shut down any further attempts from Houston. It was amazing to see such a comprehensive performance with throws that left the opposing batters puzzled.All in all, it was a fantastic display by our Angels! This win was pure teamwork, from offense to defense. Canāt wait to see more of this energy as the season continues!
