Angels Draw First Blood with a Home Run Blast 
The Los Angeles Angels and the Houston Astros started off with a pitching showcase, both teams holding each other scoreless through the first two innings. In the top of the third, Zach Neto finally gave us Angels fans something to cheer about by launching a solo home run to left field, a whopping 403 feet! This put the Angels on the board with a 1-0 lead. 
Astros Answer Back, But the Angels Hold Ground 
The bottom of the third inning saw the Astros quickly respond, tying the game. The infield single by Jesus Sánchez allowed Jeremy Peña to score, making it 1-1. The Angels' defense and pitching were rock solid in the following innings, preventing the Astros from doing any more damage. Jo Adell in center field and Luis Rengifo with his quick glovework helped keep the Astros at bay. A Dramatic 9th Inning Comeback 
The game remained tied until a nail-biting top of the 9th. Luis Rengifo ignited the rally with a single and later scored along with Logan O'Hoppe, thanks to clutch hitting by Oswald Peraza. The cherry on top was Mike Trout drawing a walk that pushed Matthew Lugo across the plate, giving us a commanding 4-1 lead. Kenley Jansen then took the mound in the bottom of the 9th to seal the victory for our Angels, shutting down the Astros and securing the win. A spectacular performance by our team!
