The game kicked off with our boys setting the pace. Nolan Schanuel dazzled us immediately with an infield single, and Luis Rengifo followed suit, advancing Schanuel to third. Taylor Ward's sacrifice fly brought Schanuel home, putting us in the lead.
However, the Astros weren't going to let us off that easy. After a quiet start, they ramped up the pressure in the 2nd inning, with Jose Altuve blasting a three-run homer and Mauricio Dubon adding on with a two-run shot in the 4th, pushing the Astros ahead, 6-1.The Angels' Explosive Comeback!
But then came the 5th inning, a testament to the Angels' never-say-die attitude! Down 6-1, we witnessed an incredible power surge from our boys. Schanuel started the fireworks with a three-run homer.
But why stop there? Logan O'Hoppe delivered a stunning three-run homer of his own, and Jo Adell kept the party going with a solo homer, catapulting us into an 8-6 lead. And just for good measure, Zach Neto added a solo homer in the 6th, proving that Angels can indeed fly high!
