The Angels came out swinging in the top of the 1st inning, with Luis Rengifo launching a massive 384-foot homer to left field, driving in Taylor Ward and Jo Adell to give us an early 3-0 lead. Rengifo’s three-run blast had us all cheering!

In the bottom of the 2nd, Kansas City's Adam Frazier blasted a solo homer to right, cutting our lead to 3-1. Things stayed quiet until the bottom of the 4th when Vinnie Pasquantino homered to right, bringing the Royals within a run. A tense 7th inning saw Salvador Perez launch a 402-foot homer to level the score at 3-3. The Royals seemed to regroup, and their momentum was undeniable.Heartbreaking Finish
We held firm until the bottom of the 8th inning, when Bobby Witt Jr. hit a game-winning solo shot to left-center, putting the Royals ahead 4-3. Still, hope lingered as Yoan Moncada doubled to center in the top of the 9th, giving us a chance to level the score, but it wasn’t meant to be. Scott Kingery ran for Moncada, but the Royals kept their composure, and Oswald Peraza and Logan O'Hoppe both struck out, sealing our fate. It was a tough loss, Angels fans, but we'll bounce back stronger! On to the next one!
