Unfortunate Start for the Dodgers
The game began with a bit of a rough patch for our Dodgers. Right from the get-go, the Angels took the lead when Yoan Moncada managed to hit a two-run homer in the top of the 1st inning after Nolan Schanuel walked. It didn’t get much better as we ended the inning with a double play by Mookie Betts followed by a grounded out Freddie Freeman.
Fighting Back in the Fourth
We've got to give it to Max Muncy for lighting up the team in the bottom of the 4th, scoring Will Smith with a beautiful double to right field, finally putting us on the board 4-1. Unfortunately, subsequent attempts saw Andy Pages ground out to third and Michael Conforto striking out swinging. At least we were on the board now!
Ohtani Shines Bright in the Eighth
Despite the Angels advancing their lead to 4-1, the Dodgers tried to rally in the 8th inning. Our superstar, Shohei Ohtani, blasted a monster homer to center field, narrowing the score to 4-2.

Final Efforts Were Not Enough
Our bats, unfortunately, couldn't create any more magic in the bottom of the 9th. After a single by Will Smith, both Max Muncy and Andy Pages were retired, and Michael Conforto ended our hope with a final flyout to left. Despite our every effort, the game concluded with a 6-2 loss.In Conclusion
In a game filled with double plays and missed opportunities, we did see some bright moments, particularly from Shohei Ohtani with his homer and Max Muncy with an RBI double. But, alas, the Angels managed to outdo us with crucial hits at key moments. Let's keep our spirits high, Dodgers fans, and look forward to the next game!
