A Winning Start

What a game! The Los Angeles Angels kicked off a fantastic evening against the Dodgers with a bang. Our very own Nolan Schanuel made an early impact by drawing a walk, setting up Yoan Moncada to deliver an electrifying 383-foot home run, bringing the score to 2-0 right off the bat. Woohoo! ⚾🔥 Even though Taylor Ward got on base with a walk, Jorge Soler ended up hitting into a double play, but no worries, we were off to a solid start as the inning closed.

Building the Lead

In the 4th inning, the Angels showcased a tremendous effort to extend the lead. Luis Rengifo and Matthew Lugo helped load the bases, then Tim Anderson took one for the team, getting hit by a pitch. With two outs, it was Zach Neto to the rescue, driving a crucial double to bring home Rengifo and Lugo, lifting the score to 4-0 Angels. 🎉🎉

The Final Push

The top of the 9th sealed the victory for the Angels. Neto was at it again with another double, quickly followed by Schanuel's single, allowing both Lugo and Neto to score. The scoreboard climbed to a comfortable 6-2 lead for our Angels. 🏆✨ Throughout the night, the pitching staff delivered, with solid defense and strategic pitching changes to maintain control. The Dodgers just couldn't catch a break, even with Shohei Ohtani belting a homer in the 8th. In the end, it was our night!

Let's keep this momentum going, Angels! Go Halos! 🌟😇
