Tough Day at American Family Field

Ah, Brewers fans, it was tough to see our boys in blue come up short against the Angels. The 6-2 loss is not quite what we hoped for, but let's talk about the highlights and moments we can build on for the next game.

First Inning Fireworks!

We got off to a bright start thanks to a thrilling home run by none other than Christian Yelich. 🚀 That swing sent the ball flying over the center field wall and put us ahead 1-0 in the first inning. His shot had us all dreaming of another big win. Contreras and Hoskins also made contact but couldn’t quite keep the momentum going.

Angels Answer Back

Unfortunately, the Angels didn't let us enjoy that lead for long. Jo Adell came through for them in the second inning with a three-run homer. Despite our efforts to claw back into the game, their power was on display again with Nolan Schanuel and J.D. Davis adding homers of their own. Our bullpen worked hard but the Angels kept pushing.

Takeaways and Looking Ahead

Rhys Hoskins did manage another homer for us in the 4th inning, bringing some life back into the park. But ultimately, even with some great hits, we couldn't string together the runs we needed. Our pitching staff showed grit with some tough work out there, but the Angels just had our number today.

Brewer faithful, as always, we stay optimistic and ready for the next matchup. It's time to dust it off and come back stronger. Let’s keep supporting the team as they look to turn things around in the upcoming games! 💪⚾
