Tough Day at the Office
Angels fans, today was a challenging outing for our team as the Los Angeles Angels faced off against the Milwaukee Brewers, eventually falling by a score of 2-9. While we managed to get some hits in, the game was ultimately dominated by the Brewers.
A Game of Missed Opportunities and Bright Moments
We had a promising moment when Jo Adell reached base in the second inning due to catcher's interference, followed by a single from Oswald Peraza. However, despite Peraza's speedy base steal, we were unable to capitalize further. It's always tough to see opportunities slip away, especially when we're right there in scoring position!
That said, we did witness some power from Taylor Ward, who managed to belt a homer in the 4th inning and another solo shot in the 6th, providing a much-needed energy boost and something to cheer about!
Pitching Woes and Defense Slip-ups
Unfortunately, our pitching and defense had a rough outing. José Ureña's throwing error in the 6th inning allowed the Brewers to extend their lead, and Blake Perkins’s three-run triple in the 8th put the game out of reach for us. The Brewers were able to capitalize on these mistakes, Padding their lead along the way.
Angels fans, we're passionate and resilient. While it's challenging to see our boys fall short, we know they’ll pick themselves up and push forward. Let's hold our heads high and continue to support the team through thick and thin! On to the next game!
