Tough Day at the Office
Well, Angels fans, it wasn't quite the outcome we were hoping for
Early Opportunities and Setbacks
Starting with the top of the 1st inning, we had a promising start due to a throwing error by the Twins. Jorge Soler reached base, and Zach Neto followed with a single, giving us runners on first and second. Unfortunately, Mike Trout grounded into a double play, and Taylor Ward struck out swinging, ending our early opportunity. Meanwhile, the Twins capitalized on their chances, scoring one run to make it 1-0 by the end of the 1st.Keeping Pace
In the top of the 2nd, there was a glimmer of hope when Nolan Schanuel walked, and Luis Rengifo moved him to third with a single. Jo Adell came through with an RBI single to tie things up at 1-1!
Fighting Back
Our offense didn't slack though! In the top of the 5th, a Mike Trout RBI single brought in another run. Then, in the 6th, Logan O'Hoppe smashed a homer left center-field (412 feet!)
The Final Push
The later innings saw us trying to claw back into the game. Rengifo gave us hope with consistent hitting, but it was not enough as the Twins held on to their sizable advantage. Despite some solid individual performances, the game slipped away, and we couldn't mount the comeback we sought.Looking forward, let's keep our heads up and cheer the team on for the next matchup! Win or lose, we stand proudly by our Angels
