Big Win for the Twins! 
Our Minnesota Twins came out strong and took down the Los Angeles Angels with a 10-5 victory today. 
Offensive Surge Early
The bats were hot right from the get-go! In the bottom of the 2nd inning, Trevor Larnach hit an infield single, and Carlos Santana followed with a single to right. Ryan Jeffers then knocked in Larnach with a single to center. The big hit of the inning came from Kyle Farmer, who smashed a 396-foot homer to bring in three runs! We ended the inning up 4-0.
Solid Pitching through the Early Innings
Our pitchers kept the Angels off the board through four innings, with some stellar defense behind them. In the top of the 3rd, we saw Neto fly out to right and Brandon Drury grounded out to third to keep the score at 4-0.
Home Runs Galore!
In the bottom of the 3rd, Matt Wallner blasted a 444-foot homer to right! Carlos Santana joined the homer party in the 5th inning, hitting a 404-foot 2-run shot to right-center, making it 8-4. The offensive surge continued in the 6th, with Julien and Farmer getting on base and then being brought home by a double from Wallner. All of this gave us a comfortable lead of 10-4.
️Angels Fight Back But Too Late
The Angels managed to put some runs on the board in the 5th inning with a big home run from Neto, but our defense stood tall and limited the damage. The 9th inning saw them scratching one more run across, but it was too little too late!
Closing it Out
Our bullpen came in and shut it down. Great job by our pitchers to keep the Angels in check and secure the win. Michael Helsley and the rest of the crew showed up big time!
Final Thoughts
A total team effort today with contributions up and down the lineup. This is the kind of performance that fuels momentum. Let’s keep this fire going, Twins!
