A Tough Loss for the Angels
The Angels faced off against the Twins and unfortunately, it was a tough game. For us Angels fans, it was a bittersweet performance filled with moments of hope but ending in disappointment. Let's break it down.Early Struggles
We had a quiet start in the first inning. Taylor Ward flied out and Zach Neto managed a double, but a double play ended our chances to score. Meanwhile, the Twins capitalized in the second inning with four runs, including a three-run homer by Kyle Farmer. Ouch!
Mid-Inning Magic, Briefly
The 5th inning brought us some excitement! After struggling at the plate, we finally struck. Niko Kavadas singled, Taylor Ward drove in a run, and Zach Neto hit a three-run homer!

Couldn't Catch Up
Our offensive struggles continued in the later innings. We only managed one more run in the 9th inning when Jordyn Adams singled to bring in Charles Leblanc. But it was too little, too late. The Twins added more insurance runs in the 6th inning, leading to a final score of 10-5.Final Thoughts
It was a tough game, but we saw glimpses of promise, especially with Zach Neto's performance. We've got to tighten up both our defense and our pitching. Here's to hoping for a better game next time out!
