Wow, what a game! Our Oakland Athletics held off the Los Angeles Angels and sealed a thrilling 7-5 victory. Let's dive into the highlights and key plays from tonight's nail-biter at the Coliseum.Slow Start but Strong Finish in the 4th Inning 
The game started quietly with both teams struggling to get on base. It wasn't until the bottom of the 4th inning when Brent Rooker sparked the offense with a towering homer to center field, putting us up 1-0. Not to be outdone, Shea Langeliers followed with a single to left and Lawrence Butler smashed a clutch 3-run homer to push our lead to 4-0. Go Butler! 
Athletics Extend Their Lead 
In the 6th inning, Brett Harris doubled to left field, bringing in two more runs. Then, JJ Bleday followed suit with a single to right, driving in Harris to extend our lead to 7-1. It was an inning of pure magic! Angels Fight Back but Fall Short 
The Angels mounted a comeback in the 7th and 9th innings, scoring four additional runs. Nolan Schanuel and Luis Rengifo tried to rally their team, but our pitchers, especially Mason Miller, held strong and closed out the game. Ward struck out swinging for the final out, and it was game over!
