The game kicked off with a silent first inning, both teams unable to make an impact. However, the Angels took the early lead in the top of the 3rd inning when Tim Anderson doubled to center and Zach Neto smashed a homer to left field, bringing the score to 2-0.
Unfortunately, the Padres answered back with an inning full of singles and an error by our pitcher, tilting the score in their favor 3-2 by the end of the 3rd inning.Pressure Builds as Padres Edge Ahead
As the game continued, the Padres added to their lead with a home run from Fernando Tatis Jr., making it 4-2 by the 5th inning. Despite some valiant efforts, including singles by Taylor Ward and others, we couldn't bridge the gap just yet. But hey, sometimes you need a little tension before the fireworks!

The Angels' bats truly came alive in the 9th inning. Luis Rengifo sparked life with an infield single, which coupled with some strategic walks, loaded the bases. Nolan Schanuel and Yoan Moncada each drew walks that leveled the score to 5-5, setting the stage for an epic moment!
