An Epic Showdown in San Francisco!
Hey Angels fans! We just pulled off an intense victory against the Giants, 8-6. From the start, we had our eyes on the prize and it paid off big time!Early Momentum and Strong Batting
In the top of the 2nd inning, our boy Logan O'Hoppe started things off with a solid single. Then, Zach Neto and Mickey Moniak delivered, with Moniak hitting a ground rule double that set the stage for us. Michael Stefanic brought in the first run, followed by a key walk from Nolan Schanuel. We ended the inning up 1-0.Heating Up by the 3rd and 4th
The 3rd inning saw Taylor Ward and Kevin Pillar team up with some excellent play – Pillar's double, aided by a key error, brought in a run. Moniak then doubled, adding two RBIs, making it a 4-0 lead. The excitement continued in the 4th inning with Neto's homer, bringing in O'Hoppe. Moniak continued his stellar performance with a triple, followed by Adell's sacrifice fly. By the end of the 4th, we were cruising at 8-1.Defensive Hold and Late Tension
Our defense held strong through the 5th, 6th, and 7th innings, but things got tense in the 8th. The Giants managed to score 5 runs including a homer by Ramos. Luckily, our bullpen held them off. Shoutout to Camilo Doval who sealed the deal in the 9th by getting the last out. Phew!Key Takeaways and Player Highlights
