Mariners Seal the Deal! 
Hey Mariners fans! What a thrilling game against the Angels. Today was yet another showcase of our team's prowess and resilience. The Mariners secured the victory with a final score of 5-3 against the Los Angeles Angels. Let's dive into the exciting breakdown of the game!
Early Innings Battle 
The game started off with both teams finding their footing. By the bottom of the 2nd inning, things got exciting as Julio Rodríguez and Jorge Polanco set the tone for what's to come. Rodríguez singled to the left, and with some great team cooperation, it was Jorge Polanco who stole the show, blasting a 395-foot homer to right center, bringing in Miles Mastrobuoni and Leo Rivas to put us on the scoreboard with a 3-0 lead.
Middle Innings Tensity 
The battle continued through the 5th and 6th innings with our defense proving rock solid. The Angels had some opportunities, but they were kept at bay, maintaining our lead. With Polanco's game-changing home run, and Cal Raleigh putting on impressive patience and resilience with walks and hits, the Mariners held firmly to their advantage.
Dominant Finish to Secure Victory 
By the 7th inning, we saw another blast of magic from Polanco. A 423-foot rocket over center field boosted our score to 5-1 alongside Rodriguez, who scored after an infield single. Although the Angels tried to mount a comeback in the 8th inning with a couple of runs, our bullpen shut down any hope they had. Andrés Muñoz came in to close and delivered a perfect 9th inning, striking out Kyren Paris and putting the Angels away for good.
All in all, it was a fantastic game at T-Mobile Park. Big kudos to Jorge Polanco for being the game MVP with those two monumental homers. Let’s keep up the momentum as we march forward in the season. Go Mariners!
