A Promising Start
Our Los Angeles Angels came out swinging against the Mariners
! Things were looking optimistic in the first inning when Nolan Schanuel and Mike Trout both singled, setting the stage for Logan O'Hoppe to drive Schanuel home with another single. Our guys took an early 1-0 lead! 
The Mariners couldn't respond, giving us a strong start.Back-and-Forth Battle
The second inning saw the Mariners tie it up with an impressive homer by Arozarena clearing the fence
, but Jorge Soler brought his A-game in the third with a homer of his own to even the score at 2-2. The matchup was a nail-biter as we traded leads, but unlike the fierce weather, our boys didn't falter and kept up their fight, tying it at 3-3 by the fourth inning with Zach Neto crossing home plate in a clever play. Our hopes soared until the seventh inning when unfortunately, the Mariners unleashed an offensive onslaught. Despite our boys' best efforts, Seattle managed to pile on six runs, putting the game out of reach at 9-3.
While it's tough to swallow this loss, there were bright spots to cheer for: brilliant plays from Gustavo Campero and a resilient pitching effort going into the eighth inning.This game may not have ended the way we wanted, but there's always room for optimism and growth! Our Angels will return stronger, ready to light up the diamond next time! Until then, let's keep rooting for our team and look forward to that sweet next victory
