Tough Night for the Angels in Texas
Tonight’s game against the Texas Rangers was a tough battle for our Los Angeles Angels
First Half Struggles
In the top of the first inning, we couldn't get on base as Taylor Ward, Luis Rengifo, and Mike Trout all went down without a hit. Fast forward to the second inning, and we saw Jorge Soler strike out looking, although Travis d'Arnaud managed to get a single. Still, it wasn't enough to score any runs as our boys couldn’t advance the runners. The Rangers took advantage in the second inning with Jake Burger and Corey Seager making key plays, which allowed Texas to grab an early lead at 3-0

Rally Cut Short
Despite the deficit, our Angels didn’t lose their spirit. By the sixth inning, there was a ray of hope

However, pitching changes by the Rangers, including their call to Jackson at the final inning, prevented us from building any serious momentum. Both Trout and Soler found themselves unable to break through their defensive lines.
Final Thoughts
The Angels put up a valiant effort but just couldn’t get over the hump against a strong Rangers team. It’s a hard pill to swallow, but games like these remind us of the highs and lows of baseball
