Tough Loss in Texas, But Angels Put Up a Fight
Fellow Halos fans, tonight was a tough one for us as our Los Angeles Angels faced off against the Texas Rangers, eventually falling 5–3. The game started with some hope (and a glimmer in our eyes
Rangers Strike Back
Unfortunately, the Rangers quickly answered back in the home half of the first with Adolis García hitting a sacrifice fly that brought Marcus Semien home, tying the score at 1-1. The next inning saw a bit more damage with Leody Taveras hitting a clutch double that pushed two runs across the plate, putting Texas up 3-1. Heartache and Hope
Despite our angels battling back, Corey Seager's solo shot to center field in the 7th inning ultimately sealed the game at 5-3. Our bats couldn't muster the necessary momentum in the final innings, with Mike Trout, one of our beloved stars, lining out to end the 8th inning which was a heartbreaker
All in all, it was a tough loss to swallow, but the fight shown by the team is something that makes us proud to wear our caps and jerseys as we cheer them on in every game. Until next time, fellow fans, let's keep the faith and support flowing for our Halos!
