Tough Loss Against the Rangers
Hey Halos fans, another rough night as our Angels fell to the Texas Rangers with a final score of 7-4. Despite some bright moments, we just couldn't catch a break. Let's dive into the game recap:Uneventful Start
The top of the first saw Taylor Ward strike out swinging, Zach Neto flied out to left, and Charles Leblanc lined out to left. Our bats remained silent. Then, the Rangers came on strong, with Marcus Semien smacking a homer to left-center and Nathaniel Lowe hitting another homer, putting us down 3-0. Ouch!The Struggles Continue
The second inning didn’t offer much relief. Our guys were retired quickly, with Brandon Drury, Matt Thaiss, and Jordyn Adams unable to get on base. Things got worse as Ezequiel Duran added another homer for the Rangers, and they continued to pile on runs, making it 5-0 by the end of the inning.Leblanc's Blast 
Finally, in the fourth, we had a spark! Taylor Ward walked, Zach Neto doubled, and Charles Leblanc hit a three-run homer! That gave us some life, bringing the score to 5-3. But the Rangers' pitching kept us at bay for the rest of the inning.Closing the Gap and More Struggles
We managed to add another run in the seventh without hitting the ball out of the park, thanks to an error that allowed Matt Thaiss to advance and eventually score. But, defensively, we couldn't hold them. Another error in the eighth allowed the Rangers to score two more runs.Final Push Falls Short
Michael Stefanic walked in the ninth, but that was about it. The final attempts by Matt Thaiss, Jordyn Adams, and Mickey Moniak ended in outs, closing our chances of a comeback. Final score: 7-4 in favor of the Rangers.Final Thoughts
Our boys fought hard but just couldn't overcome the errors and the strong Rangers' bats. Charles Leblanc's three-run blast was a highlight, but we need more consistency up and down the lineup. Let’s keep our heads up, Angels fans. There's always the next game!
