Rockies Start Slow
It was a nail-biting game at Coors Field today as the Colorado Rockies squared off against the Los Angeles Dodgers! We got off to a bit of a slow start. The first inning saw both teams scoreless, but the Dodgers took a quick lead in the 2nd. Shohei Ohtani's single brought one run in, followed by another prompt score, leaving us trailing 0-2.Rockies Rally Back
But never count the Rockies out! In the bottom of the 3rd, Kyle Karros walked, and Brenton Doyle followed with a single. Ryan Ritter came in clutch with a single of his own, sending both Karros and Doyle home, leveling the game at 2-2.A Tense Middle Game
The Dodgers took the lead again in the 6th after a double brought in another run, making the score 2-3. However, in the 7th inning, Ezequiel Tovar showed his class, smashing a home run (413 feet!), tying the game once more at 3-3. You could feel the tension in every pitch.Victory in the 9th!

With the game standing at an exciting 3-3 in the 9th, it was Ezequiel Tovar again making the play. He doubled to right, and Warming Bernabel, with nerves of steel, hit a single bringing Tovar home! The Rockies sneak away with a thrilling 4-3 victory! This victory against the Dodgers highlights the grit and determination of our players.
