In the second inning, Miguel Rojas started things off with a single, followed by another impressive performance from Ohtani, who delivered with an RBI single. Smith then tripled to right, bringing Ohtani home. We were up 3-0! Though the Rockies tried to answer with a homer from Stallings, our lead remained solid at 3-1 through the early innings.Seventh Inning Surge
Our offense simply couldn’t be stopped. Jason Heyward and Rojas stepped up to the plate, each contributing hits that advanced our score to 5-1. Biggio brought in another run with a single, making it clear that the Rockies pitching staff couldn't keep up with our firepower.Putting the Game to Bed
Ohtani and Freeman put on a clinic. Ohtani walked and stole second, later scoring on a single by Heyward. Our guys didn’t let up, with Biggio and Lux sealing the deal in the 9th inning. By that point, we had a dominant 9-1 lead, thanks in large part to contributions across the lineup.Late Rockies Rally and Final Score
