Tough Loss for the Rockies in High-Scoring Thriller 
What a nail-biter of a game, Rockies fans! Our boys took an early lead but couldn't hold off the powerful Dodgers lineup in a tough 11-9 loss.Hot Start for the Rockies 
Charlie Blackmon got things rolling in the bottom of the 1st by taking one for the team and getting hit by a pitch. Brenton Doyle followed up with a single, and soon enough Ezequiel Tovar doubled in Blackmon for the first run! Ryan McMahon then doubled in Doyle and Tovar, and another sac fly by Nolan Jones brought McMahon home. A fantastic inning put us up 4-0!Montero Adds to the Lead 
In the 2nd, Elehuris Montero blasted a 410-footer to left center, bringing Alan Trejo home with him. That put us comfortably up 6-1 at the end of the 2nd. Montero stepped in beautifully for Blackmon as the DH.Doyle's Big Blast 
After a somewhat quiet 3rd and 4th inning for both teams, Brenton Doyle decided it was time to shine again, launching a solo homer to left, making it 7-2 Rockies in the bottom of the 4th. You love to see it!Hold the Line 
Despite Shohei Ohtani's massive 476-foot homer in the 6th, Trejo and Doyle teamed up again to push our lead to 8-3 in the bottom half of the inning. Things were looking good, Rockies fans!A Bumpy 9th Inning 
The Dodgers were not going down without a fight. Just when it seemed like we had them, Jason Heyward's pinch-hit blast brought them within one at 9-8. Sadly, Teoscar Hernández followed up with a huge homer that scored three and put the Dodgers up for good.Final Effort Falls Short 
In the bottom of the 9th, Nolan Jones tried to spark a rally by walking and advancing to second, but Hunter Goodman struck out to end the game, sealing the 11-9 victory for the Dodgers.Despite the loss, there were plenty of positives: big hits, aggressive base running, and some solid pitching early on. Keep the faith, Rockies fans. We'll get 'em next time!
