A Rough Start with Dodgers' Early Lead
Well, that was a tough game for us, Angels fans.
The Dodgers came out swinging in the top of the 1st inning with a strong start. No thanks to a wild pitch and a couple of timely singles, they managed to put up 3 runs against us quickly. Our guys tried to respond in the bottom of the inning, but unfortunately, Zach Neto, Nolan Schanuel, and Yoan Moncada couldn't get much going.Fighting Back in the Second
The Dodgers extended their lead to 9-0 by the second inning. Yikes! Our boy Jorge Soler managed to double and score thanks to a fielding error by Dodgers' left fielder Teoscar Hernández, and Jo Adell capitalized on it as well. Logan O'Hoppe brought him home with a nice hit, making it 9-2. It wasn't enough, but it showed some spirit!
Struggles Continue Despite Change
The rest of the game saw some lineup changes as we tried to find a combination that could get us back into it. Kudos to the guys like Nick Madrigal and Jeimer Candelario who showed fight, but we just couldn't bring in more runs. Unfortunately, the Dodgers added on to their lead, and we ended up with a painful 15-2 loss. Despite the outcome, our Halos will keep their heads high and look forward to getting back to winning ways. Let's show support and keep believing!
