A Rough Start Against the Dodgers
Hey fellow Marlins fans!

It was a tough matchup against the Los Angeles Dodgers, with the game ending in a 7-4 defeat at LoanDepot Park. The first couple of innings were pretty tight with our pitching staff doing their best to contain the likes of
Shohei Ohtani and
Mookie Betts. However, after the first inning, things didn’t look too good as
Teoscar Hernández doubled, allowing Betts to score, getting the Dodgers their first run right off the bat.
Fighting For Momentum
As the game progressed, the Dodgers seemed to find their groove with
Freddie Freeman launching a homer to center field, stretching their lead in the 3rd inning. Yet, not all hope was lost!

Our very own
Dane Myers showed his aggressiveness by getting a single and stealing second in the 2nd inning, but unfortunately, we couldn't capitalize that time. It wasn't until the bottom of the 6th inning when
Eric Wagaman doubled to center that we got on the board with a couple of runs thanks to
Jesus Sánchez and
Connor Norby stepping up.
Features of Promise
As the bottom of the 8th inning rolled around, a spark ignited!
Agustin Ramirez delivered a massive 424-feet home run with
Jesús Sánchez and
Dane Myers on base, bringing in three much-needed runs, and filling every Marlins fan with hope! Despite a valiant effort to close the gap, the Dodgers managed to hold their lead through the 9th inning.
All in all, it was a promising showcase of talent. We'll keep fighting the good fight, and as always, we are proud to cheer on our Miami Marlins! Onward to the next game, folks!
