Tough Loss for the Brewers 😔

Fellow Brewers fans, it was a tough night at American Family Field as the Dodgers took a decisive 7-2 victory. While our boys fought hard, the Dodgers' offense proved to be too much to handle.

Early Opportunities Missed

Despite a promising start with Jackson Chourio doubling to center in the first inning, the Brewers couldn't capitalize. Both William Contreras and Tyler Black were unable to bring him home. The Dodgers, on the other hand, got on the board in the second inning with a solo homer by Will Smith.

Dodgers Extend Their Lead

In the third inning, Shohei Ohtani hit a solo homer, putting the Dodgers up 2-0. Our Brewers got a spark when William Contreras launched a 400-foot homer to left-center in the third inning, cutting the lead to 2-1. Sadly, the fourth inning was rough for us as the Dodgers piled on five runs, including a two-run homer by Gavin Lux and a two-run shot by Andy Pages.

Brewers Struggle to Mount a Comeback

The team struggled to get back in the game. Willy Adames got struck out twice, and Garrett Mitchell had a tough night at the plate, striking out three times 😔. However, in the seventh inning, we saw some life when Willy Adames scored on an infield single by Joey Ortiz.

Last Ditch Efforts

Despite a few hits and getting hit by pitches, the Brewers couldn't convert their opportunities. By the time the ninth inning rolled around, pinch hitters Jake Bauers and Gary Sánchez couldn't make the needed impact, and the game ended with the Dodgers up 7-2.

Looking Forward

It was a tough game, but there's always hope for the next one. Let's continue to support our Brewers through thick and thin! 💙⚾ With the talent on our roster, better days are definitely ahead! Stay strong, Brewers fans!
