Yankees' Early Inning Woes

The game started off with a hiccup for our Yankees as Freddie Freeman launched a two-run homer in the 1st inning to give the Dodgers an early 2-0 lead. But no worries, Yankees fans! Our boys were just warming up.

Volpe Sparks a Comeback

Moving into the 3rd inning, we saw fireworks from Anthony Volpe. After the Dodgers extended the lead to 2-0, Volpe stepped up big time with a huge grand slam that left the Dodgers stunned. He sent the ball soaring 390 feet over the left-center wall, bringing home Aaron Judge, Jazz Chisholm Jr., and Giancarlo Stanton. Yankees took control with a 5-2 lead! 💪

Sealing the Deal in the 8th

By the 8th inning, the Dodgers tried clawing back, but our Yankees held strong! A mighty display of power was showcased once again when Gleyber Torres hit a three-run homer. Austin Wells contributed to the run-fest earlier in the inning and Soto and Judge kept the momentum alive with significant hits. Torres' homer sealed the deal, and the Yankees ended up extending their lead to a commanding 11-4. 🎉⚾

Wrapping It Up

The top of the 9th inning was all about finishing strong. Mayza made sure there were no hitches as he retired the side, capping off an amazing victory for our Yankees! The final score stood at 11-4, and we showed those Dodgers who rules in the Bronx! 🙌🗽 Let's keep this momentum rolling, Yankees fans! 🍎
