A Tough Night at PNC Park
Pirates fans, gather 'round, because yesterday's game was quite the rollercoaster, and I've got all the highs, lows, and in-betweens. While our Buccos fought valiantly, the Dodgers ultimately sailed away with an 11-7 victory. Let's break down what happened.

The game kicked off with the Dodgers quickly marking their territory. Freddie Freeman hit a homer that sent Mookie Betts and Shohei Ohtani sprinting around the bases, setting the Dodgers up 3-0 in the very first inning. Not ones to be easily discouraged, the Pirates' spirit shone brightly in the ensuing innings. The second inning saw Jack Suwinski bring Edward Olivares home, slicing the Dodgers' lead. Then, in the third inning, the energy at PNC Park was electric as Nick Gonzales slugged a homer, bringing both Oneil Cruz and himself around to score, tying the game 4-4. It was a moment where hope sparked, and the roar of the fans matched the thunder of our bats.

However, just as we got our hopes up, the Dodgers swung back with a vengeance in the fifth inning, adding six more runs to the scoreboard. It was a tough pill to swallow, watching them widen the gap.
