Dodgers Struggle in Pittsburgh
Well folks, that game sure was a tough one for our Dodgers. Our team fell to the Pirates with a final score of 0-3. Not what we were hoping for, but there's always another day to fight back! Let's break down the action and see what happened.
Pitching Dominates Early Innings
The game started slow, with both teams struggling to get on the board in the very first inning. Our star, Shohei Ohtani, struck out swinging to lead off, and soon enough, the entire inning was shut down by the Pirates’ defense. Unlike us, the Pirates managed to sneak in a homer by Bryan Reynolds, putting them in the lead 1-0 by the end of the first. The Dodgers left Freeman and T. But fear not, because Ohtani sparked hope in us all with a double in the 5th, and Mookie Betts followed by walking to give us two on base.
