Tough Loss for the Padres
Well, Padres fans, today’s game didn't go as planned. Our boys fell to the Dodgers 8-2, after a tough battle
. Our spirits were high after Elias Diaz smashed a two-run homer in the 3rd inning, giving us a brief lead. We were hanging tight, but the Dodgers came back swinging, especially in the 7th inning.Dodgers' Big 7th Inning
The game took a turn when the Dodgers unleashed a flurry of runs in the top of the 7th. Dalton Rushing and Freddie Freeman had us biting our nails as they both homered, adding to the Dodgers’ tally. Freeman was a real pain in the neck today, hammering two homers - one in the 6th and another in that disastrous 7th inning.

Despite some solid outings early on, we just couldn't keep up with the Dodgers' firepower today. Ohtani capped it off with a solo homer in the 9th, sealing the deal for Los Angeles. It was a tough night at Petco Park, but we've got tomorrow to look forward to. Let’s keep our heads up and support our Padres as they regroup and come back stronger. We’ll bounce back!
