Tough Night for the Padres Against the Dodgers
Last night was a rough one for us Padres fans as our team was shut out by the Dodgers, ending with a final score of 5-0. Despite some solid efforts on the field, the Dodgers' pitching and a big inning were too much to overcome.Early Hope Gives Way to Dodger Domination
The game started with promise, with both teams scoreless in the first inning. However, the Dodgers quickly got on the board with a solo homer by Freddie Freeman in the top of the 1st inning, setting the tone for the rest of the game. Despite Jurickson Profar getting on base with a single in the bottom of the 1st inning, the Padres just couldn't capitalize on these early opportunities

Our pitching held the Dodgers at bay until the top of the 6th inning when it all came unraveling down. Teoscar Hernández's grand slam off De Los Santos blew the game wide open, bringing in Shohei Ohtani, Will Smith, and Max Muncy to score.
