A Tough Loss in Extra Innings for the Giants 💔

Hey fellow Giants fans! Last night's game was a rollercoaster, and unfortunately, it didn't end in our favor as the Dodgers snagged the win, 5-2, in an 11-inning battle. Here's how it all went down:

Game Highlights 🌟

The game started off with some promising defense as both teams kept it scoreless through the first three innings. Patrick Bailey managed a nice single in the 3rd inning, but we couldn't capitalize on it.

The Dodgers got on the scoreboard first in the 4th inning, with Freddie Freeman driving in Shohei Ohtani after some disciplined plate appearances by the opposition, squeezing past Webb to put the Dodgers up, 1-0.

They extended their lead in the 5th when Miguel Rojas knocked a 383-foot homer. With Ohtani and the dangerous Betts eager to do more damage, the Giants kept them limited to 2-0.

Giants Battle Back 💪

But our Giants didn't give up! The 9th inning was electric when pinch-hitter Luis Matos came in clutch with a massive 424-foot homer, driving in Matt Chapman to tie the game at 2-2! The stadium erupted with cheers, and hope was back in the air! 🙌

We rode that momentum into the extra innings, but the Dodgers managed to tighten their defense and return to offensive form. Despite a solid relief effort by Doval, the Dodgers finally broke through again in the 11th with multiple scores thanks to Freeman and T. Hernández.

A Gritty Effort

Huge props to our team's perseverance until the very end. Though it was a tough loss, our Giants showed heart and potential. Willy Adames, Heliot Ramos, and our other bats will surely bounce back stronger next game. Let's continue to rally behind them with our amazing Giants' spirit! 🖤🧡

Next game, we'll come back stronger! Go Giants! ⚾🌉
