Despite the Cardinals managing a few runs, our bullpen—with solid relief from Scott, Dreyer, and Kopech—kept things under control. The 8th inning brought more joy as E. Hernández and Tommy Edman pushed the lead to 7-3 with another set of fabulous plays.
