Dodgers Battle But Fall Short
Well, Dodgers fans, it was a tough one against the Washington Nationals as we ended up on the wrong side of a 6-4 loss.
Ohtani Shines but Defense Struggles
Shohei Ohtani had a magnificent day at the plate, going 3-for-4, including a huge 2-run homer in the 3rd inning and a thrilling triple in the 5th.

Late Rally Falls Short
Our bats showed life again in the 8th inning. An RBI by Mookie Betts followed by another from Will Smith cut the deficit to 6-4. However, we couldn't capitalize further as the Nationals' bullpen shut us down in the final inning despite Max Muncy leading off with a double. Hunter Feduccia and Michael Conforto couldn't drive in the runs, and the final out came from an Ohtani walk followed by Betts' ground out.
Dodger faithful, let's keep the spirits high and support our team as they bounce back from this one! It's just one game, and we've got a season to conquer! Go Dodgers!
